Menthi Majjiga (Methi Butter Milk)

Ingredients
- 1 bowl butter milk
- 1 bunch coriander
- 3 green chillies
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- salt to taste
For Seasoning
- ½ tsp mustard seeds
- 3 dry red chillies
- 1 tsp Ajwain (Vamu)
- Few curry leaves (optional)
- 1 tsp peanut oil
- ½ tsp Hing
Method
- Pour a tsp of oil in a pan; add mustard seeds, ajwain, red chillies, hing & curry leaves. Once mustard seeds and ajwain begins to splutter, turn off the stove. Keep it aside to cool.
- Grind green chillies, coriander and mustard seeds into thick paste.
- Blend butter milk with the prepared paste and add salt to it.
- Garnish with Seasoning.
Menthi Majjiga tastes good when served with Dals.
